Pool and gardens beautifully maintained.

This place suits me perfectly, providing great amenities like a seasonal outdoor pool, 24-hour reception, and complimentary wi-fi. On my first stay, the staff helped with early check-in. I’ll definitely return for another trip!

My experience at Balaton Hotel was nothing short of disastrous. The rooms were filthy. I found mold in the shower and stains on the mattress. The breakfast setup was a nightmare, with long lines and limited food options, and most staff seemed indifferent and unhelpful.

the hotel was like a loud dormitory, filled with rude dancing groups, which ruined any chance for relaxation. the food was more like a sad repeat of chicken every day, and yet, i wasn’t even offered a room upgrade to compensate for this disaster. absolutely shocking that a hotel like this exists in the sunny beach area. i almost gave a good review but just couldn’t.

My best decision yet!

I just had an incredible 7-night stay! The rooms were cleaned daily, and hot water was always available. The close beach access meant we soaked in the sun right away. The staff, including Anton and Stephan, were exceptionally friendly. The food was decent, and the pool was enjoyable. I can't wait to return next summer!

great pool but breakfast needs improvement

The pool area was impressive, with plenty of clean sunbeds available for relaxing after a day at the beach. The room was consistently cleaned, providing a welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay. Staff members were friendly and attentive, ensuring that my experience was enjoyable. I particularly appreciated the beautiful garden view from my room, adding a touch of nature to my stay.

The breakfast setup lacked variety, which was quite disappointing.

The shower had solid pressure and could be adjusted for temperature, delivering a decent experience. The room had a fridge, useful for keeping drinks cold throughout my stay.

The hotel’s food options lacked variety, making meals feel repetitive with questionable combinations like mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. The two single beds in my room were poorly covered with stained tablecloths, and the overall cleanliness left something to be desired, with complaints about leaking pipes that caused unpleasant odors. the lack of a lift made the trek to the third floor cumbersome, and dealing with a noisy drainage system added to the discomfort.

I loved the clean pool and the quick walk to the beach, perfect for soaking up the sun!
